RM Care Policies
12 Months of Comprehensive Coverage
Our RM Care offers 12 months of comprehensive coverage, extending beyond the standard manufacturer’s warranty. While the manufacturer typically covers defects in materials or workmanship, RM Care goes a step further by covering certain types of damage that are not caused by factory defects.
This includes damage from everyday wear and tear or accidents that might not be covered by the manufacturer’s policy. However, please note that not all types of damage are eligible under comprehensive coverage. RM Care is designed to cover common, understandable issues that arise from regular use, not intentional or egregious misuse.
Any claims made under this policy will be thoroughly reviewed, and the final determination of coverage will be made based on the nature of the damage and its cause.
Accidental Damage Repairs
Accidents happen, and RM Care ensures that your timepiece remains protected against those unexpected mishaps. Accidental damage repairs under RM Care cover a wide range of scenarios, including but not limited to:
- Drops
- Cracked glass
- Water damage (outside of manufacturer specifications)
- Scratches on the case or bracelet
Please be aware that accidental damage is defined as damage that occurs suddenly and unexpectedly, as opposed to damage that results from improper use or negligence. Intentional damage or damage caused by misuse will not be covered under this policy.
Theft Protection
RM Care also provides theft protection, ensuring that you can replace your watch in case of a verified theft. To initiate a claim under this protection, the following conditions must be met:
- The customer must file an official police report regarding the theft within 72 hours of the incident.
- A copy of the police report, including all relevant details, must be submitted as part of the claim.
We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of the report and to communicate with law enforcement agencies to ensure that all necessary procedures have been followed. RM Care will not provide a replacement until the theft has been legally confirmed.
In cases of suspected fraudulent claims, we reserve the right to deny coverage. This policy is in place to prevent misuse of the theft protection program.
Priority Service
Customers enrolled in RM Care will receive priority service for all covered repairs and claims. This means your case will be expedited, reducing the typical waiting time for repairs or replacements.
Please note that priority service applies only to eligible claims, and the timeline may vary depending on the complexity of the repair or replacement.
Important Notes:
- RM Care is valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, and must be purchased at the time of checkout.
- Coverage is not transferable to a new owner and is only applicable to the original purchaser of the watch.
- Claims must be submitted within the RM Care period to be eligible for coverage. Any claims made outside of this period will not be processed.
- RM Care does not cover cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the watch (e.g., minor scratches).
